Interesting that the prohibited treatments are likely to be the same ones people install in their own homes, UV, activated charcoal etc.
Mind you my thoughts on people buying bottled water are something else and as for exporting
I can live with people buying locally sourced bottled water but I’m absolutely with you on exporting the stuff.
Another thing to add to my manifesto for my Presidential campaign!
Couple of communes over, the natural spring sourced water company supplies the households direct and sells the same bottled water to the rest of us which I buy when I can to support local business. Gone right off some of the big names now and their flaming difficult to push up lids when this local one uses screw tops.
Agreed - I’ve probably told this story before, but when I lived in Turks & Caicos all the hotels used to offer bottled Fiji water to their guests.
Fiji water. From Fiji - halfway around the planet. Insane. Especially as our island Providenciales had two desalination plants producing local water (OK not “from a mountain spring” but 100% drinkable).
And then there was the pack of Xerox A4 paper that I bought a few years ago here in the UK, which was made in Australia - from wood sourced from Norway.
I look at a lot of the issues are from marketing and peoples susceptibility to BS.
Just stop advertising and save the planet!
I saw onions from N.Z. in a s/mkt at Ganges [Herault]. And again in one of my local s/mkts in Vire [Calvados].
Then again, I saw onions from FR in a s/mkt in Auckland, N.Z.
Kiwis know their onions.
