What a Wonderful Rose

Last autumn I bought some roses from David Austen and one has been outstanding.

It is Munstead Wood, the name of Gertrude Jekyll's house.

It is already vigorous and flowering profusely, with the most wonderful perfume and crimson bi-fold blooms.

I can't recomment it highly enough.

Elizabeth, no I have not had the chance, they were quite away from us in UK.

This rose has survived the best of all and come through our dreadful winter, three weeks of between -10 and -15.

I have my other favourite, Just Joey, as well.

Duly noted Jane. Have you ever visited them - it is well worth it.
