What don't you like about France (Tongue in cheek)

Goose poo all over the garden?

I actually like tongue and cheek.
I have an ox tongue in the freezer which I will cook and press for my 94 yr old friend in the village for Christmas.
Braised beef cheeks, yummy!

:scream::nauseated_face::nauseated_face::nauseated_face::yum: not for me I’m afraid.

No geese, kept the vicious barstewards before, too noisy as well.
Dolly will be kept well away from the donkeys, they will be in a separate field from the farm.

It’s good for tomtoes.
Plus they don’t produce a lot in one go…they’re smaller than elephants, for example

One of the perks of my first jobs was driving a mini tractor to collect elephant poo from London Zoo for regents Park Rose Garden.

Nice.
There appears to be a healthy market for poo.
It was rumoured that Colchester Zoo once sold lion poo to parks & market gardens…even schools…to deter pests.

If I get into trouble I’m going to claim you put me up to it Peter!

As I’ve written elsewhere, Geof, “uz Brummies all ways cops it!!”

I don’t care much for escargots.

Or andouillette :face_vomiting:

Or fromage de tête. I can’t stand it!

Not keen on tripes à la mode de Caen :slightly_frowning_face:
(but they’re a big favourite with elderly folk here in Basse Normandie) :ok_hand:

I’ve never had it, but tripes has never been a favourite of mine, no matter the country.

In England, farmers pulling trailers, usually pull over when they can, to allow traffic to pass.
Not the same in Normandy.

It is actually a legal requirement in the UK.

Drivers on the narrowest of country roads, coming up to within inches of your car, and staying there for miles.
