My dearly beloved gave me a Kindle for Christmas. Well, it's just arrived as everyone and his dog wanted one for Christmas so they ran out.
Anyway, it being post-Christmas financial crisis time, I decided to look at only free e-books. Amazon linked me to Manybooks.net which is ad-free and I decided to browse the thrillers. I was delighted to discover fab writers such as Wilkie Collins and others writing at the same time in a similar vein (Louis Tracy, William Le Queux), so managed to download 20-odd titles.
It's fantastic that so much free fiction of quality is out there.
