No, separate but equal. There are quite a few other fringe runners taking part too I think.
I’ve heard a few interviews with Count Binface. He’s quite eloquant
He may be a joke but he makes more sense than Farage. Let’s hear it for the 99p flake and nationaliseing Adele.
EDIT. A windfall tax on celebrity cosy‑crime novels is also a thoughtful idea.

Farage will be returned with an increased majority.
That’s my prediction.

It’ll be a pretty meaningless majority though, against a motley crew of 33 and no main parties.
But if he gets back into parliament, the standards commissioner can restart the inquiry.
Almost certainly but, if Binface gets any significant vote, Farage still looks very silly.

What will be interesting is the proportion of the total vote he gets, compared to last time.
I wonder how many people will actually bother to go and vote at all.
I don’t often read the Times, but this made me giggle
I imagine the hardcore pro and anti-Farage lot will. The floating voters, probably not so much.
In percentage terms possibly, the turnout will be tiny though. If it’s more than 35% I will be surprised.
The main danger (edit: To Farage) at the moment is that Reform voters in Clacton think their man is safe and don’t go and vote whereas Binface’s supporters do go out and vote for the laugh.

I’m more interested in what’s/who’s behind the unusually high numbers of, for want of a better word ‘novelty’ candidates and who’s funding them - and might this be an attempt by an obvious party to dilute the Binface vote?
It’s possible. It’s also possible that quite a lot of people want a slice of making Farage look like an idiot.
And more chance to be in the public eye given that the main parties aren’t participating.
I expect the salary is attractive too.
