I have worked as a cleaner for 3 hours per week for approximately 3 years now for a guy under the Cesu (cheque emploi) scheme.
I know that my salary is increased by 10% to cover my holiday entitlement and so I obviously don't get paid when I am on holiday from work but what happens when the employer is either on holiday or away from home due to their work or whatever reason and don't want you to go in on those occasions? Are they obliged to still pay you in those circumstances?
I have had a good look on the Cesu-ursaff website and can find no relevant information.
