Agreed. They have created their very own Holocaust in Gaza and Iran. Two of my Israeli friends visited us in France just before this Iran “ war” (debacle) started. The first thing they did was to apologise for both Netanyahu and his maniac mate Trump. Says it all really!

As a matter of interest, how should we deal with a nation
which is a huge state sponsor of terrorism in various countries;
which has expansionist aims; which seeks to develop nuclear weapons to further those aims;
which has not co-operated with peaceful efforts to restrict such development;
which seeks the destruction of Israel;
which follows a C7th religion in which there is no separation of religion and state and which operates by conquest rather than by persuasion;
the values of which are anathema to the West, at least in terms of human rights?
Containment and through agreements, restricting their use of nuclear tech and with regular inspections.
Apart from your C7th CE ref. most of the above also describes the current US administration, whose military have been ordered (by whom?) to tell the troops that their God has ‘anointed’ Trump to bring on the End of Days.
Which begs the question, if that’s the case, who’s tapping the Almighty’s hotline?
Seems to be a war primarily involving the three, increasingly fundamentalist Abrahamic religions that’s sucking in everyone else.

Oh, so exactly what they were doing, they were mid negotiations for reducing their enrichment programs when the chosen one opened fire, very balanced.
That’s not Iran, but both the US and Israel. What regimes in those countries hate about Iran is that they haven’t toed the line and sucked up to them.

The problem with the US “losing a war” is they can afford to lose it for decades and they’ll only quit when they find something else to screw up.
Of course, they only “lose” politically and financially as no-one has beaten them in a stand up fight since forever.

True but fortunately Trump won’t be around that long. Also his idealism means other countries will drive their own independence further as many have sat back over the years not really imagining that someone like the convicted criminal and almost certainly paedophile Trump could immerge.
The Iranian government made an agreement with the Obama administration to not enrich uranium. Trump came along and tore up the agreement. So who is in the wrong here?
