You can apply but if you reside in France, you won’t get it (with all due thanks to Iain Dunkin Donut).

Exactly you can live in Calabria and have WFP because Italy does not have tropical islands which were illegally included in the French meteorological statistics.
That awful man has caused so much pain to so many people with his bedroom tax and now the fiasco over Universal Credit.
I call him something quite different from a doughnut.
