I've just written to the prez, very short and to the point about proposed reforms to AE. If anyone else would like to here's the link: http://www.elysee.fr/ecrire-au-president-de-la-republique/

Many thanks for your messages!
You are welcome :-)
Celia,
I'm not directly involved with the "Poussins" so I don't know how they found the information.
Actually, I'm just one of those who would like to keep their activity alive in the context of an AE until I can afford to switch to another business form.
However, your name sounds very "English". It may explain why they decided to send you this email (unless they used Google to know more about you just in case it could help to reach a new community of AE?).
Tracy,
No worries... This error may demonstrate how inconsistent are the requests of the CMA ;-)
All-in-one I hope we will have the possibility to keep working as AE.
The time limitation would be a real disaster for most of us.
Today is a critical day of negociations... Let's cross our fingers and just hope.
Should you need to know what a French document/web page is about, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to be useful.
Hi Philippe,
Disaster, thank you so much for pointing out my HUGE error! Serves me right for not reading and posting in a hurry. I am super embarrassed now - don't know how to post a blushing face smiley.
I was AE for three years and have recently changed to EI although I would never have even started a business without AE. My husband is also AE (as a carpenter) and will be changing regimes next year so we are huge supporters of AE and can't believe the government are being so shortsighted about business start ups.
On the positive side we welcome you as a new member at SFN who being French and writing excellent English will be a help to us all (just hope no one signed the stupid link I posted, grr, had no idea there was an alternative petition)!
Thanks Philippe for the link. Interesting, I just signed it and received an email in English urging me to send the link to my friends and to spread the word on facebook - how would they know that I'm English??!
Thanks Philippe and welcome to SFN :)
Hello Tracy,
I found your post by searching the web for any information about changes related to AE.
This petition has been written by the CMA and people over there fight against this business form.
Your other posts on this forum seem to indicate that you are an AE yourself.
However, I'm French and my English may not be as good as your French :-)
Please accept my apologies if I misunderstood something.
Just in case you would like the AE rules to be preserved as they are, here is a link to a petition written by auto-entrepreneurs who would like to avoid changes:

I'm sincerely sorry for any eventual confusion.
Many thanks for reading my first post at SFN!
It only took me 5 mins! I think individual letters would be more effective for those who can...
I don't have time because I have to start cooking in - er, like now.
Anyway, may I suggest that somebody ought to write a muster letter for those who cannot write French well enough so that they can copy it in...
