Intriguing 17-year long dedicated search for the disappeared Lord Lucan by the son of the nanny murdered by Lord Lucan
He was convinced he had found him at a Buddhist retreat in Australia, face to face. Then a truly bizarre ending.

Is anyone watching the new series of Masterchef the Professionals? Some of the chefs so far seem pretty impressive.
And the new Great British Menu starts on Tuesday 24th, three days a week.
Interesting I’ve only watched the American Masterchef should I start from the beginning or work backwards?
Either, I suppose. UK Masterchef for amateurs or pros has been going for years. ETA The standard seems to improve year on year, so earlier series might be disappointing compared with more recent ones.
I haven’t seen US Masterchef, only Top Chef. (French Top Chef is back in early March.)
The Australian one is good.
I didn’t know about that one. Where could I find it please?
It’s very positive and nice, the Australian one, it’s quite emotional which wasn’t really what I was expecting. The food is all very interesting, very varied to reflect Australia’s population nowadays.
I was thinking that the ingredients would be interesting for Europeans.
I binge-watched it with daughters when I was in Australia ![]()
It seems Amazon.fr Prime Video has them
Thank you. I found it on our smart TV but it’s a paid one. I was kind of hoping it might be streamed somewhere. Maybe use the VPN and try Aussie TV.
Absolutely brilliant. I am loving it ![]()
It may have been recommended before on this posting, but last night we watched ‘Lee’ with Kate Winslet.
IMdB says “War correspondent Lee Miller travels to the front lines of World War II to embark on a mission to uncover the hidden truths of the Third Reich. But in the wake of betrayal, a reckoning will come over the truths of her own past.”
We really enjoyed it and if you haven’t seen it yet, give it a go. We think it’s worth viewing.
Series 3 of the Night Agent on Netflix is just as riveting as series 1 & 2. Thoroughly recommend it if you liked the Jason Bourne style of stories with lots of twists and turns round every corner.
I saw it in UK it was on one of the UKTV channels possibly Dave(so free). Also free in another country I watched it in but paid or free in each country will depend on which network has bought the rights.
Watched the film ‘Misery’ starring James Caan & Kathy Bates tonight and soon realised I’d seen it before, a long time ago, but this time it surprised and impressed me, possibly because I’m older this time round.
Thought it very Hitchcockian. A great example of a meaty drama IMO. A first-class performance by both. Worth a watch, on BBC Iplayer.
A well-known author is rescued from a car crash, badly injured, and looked after, and imprisoned, by an unhinged ex-nurse, his number one fan she tells him.

Outlander series 8 is back if anyone is interested.
If you like action movies that are a bit over the top with some sci-fi thrown in, The War Machine is a must watch. I thoroughly enjoyed it and its got excellent reviews. Alan Ritchman again, man mountain!
I’ve been watching Pearl Harbour just so I can watch the Americans getting the shit kicked out of them
