What to bring?

Right....My wife and 2 of her French friends are spending 4 days in Leeds (our home town) on a girlies trip. On the return, there will be an empty suitcase. I'd like ideas on what to fill it with(20kgs). Stuff they can't get here or/and stuff that's a lot cheaper there. Any ideas?

Leccy blanket is an excellent idea. Porridge oats as well. Christmas crackers ... nope actually you can't take them on a plane but spare space in a car is ideal. Greetings cards, v. expensive over here and I haven't seen any designs I like. UK sized bed linen too.

Single Gloucester cheese, available from Waitrose.

Some spices.

Greetings cards.

Decent teabags - plus they won't weigh down the case. Is there anything you missed last winter for keeping warm and snug that you couldn't find here easily? (Electric blankets etc are simple on eBay but anything else?) It would be perfect timing for her to bring winter stuff back - you could have a Paddington Bear onesie to keep you warm.

If it was for me fabric and tea bags. Which seems a fair indication of how I spend my time now I write it down.
