A new adventure

I have never run down the NHS having had excellent treatment over the years and in spite of the one blip which was the spiteful refusal of our previous head of practice to supply our doctor here with our medical histories.

Very glad at your positive update @JohnBoy

OH felt unwell when she got up last Sunday, I took her to the NHS Walk In Centre at 8.00 am and within 30 minutes she had seen a doctor and given a prescription for an ear infection, we were able to collect the medication as soon as the pharmacy open at 10.00 am.

The biggest current failings IMO are quick access to your GP, horrendous waits at A & E and long (but reducing) waits for standard op’s such as hip or knee replacements.
