Valid point.
I gave up differentiating between the two years ago as when trying to help non-tech savvy folks always responded to “What browser do you use? with “Google” and trying to explain the difference got the same glazed over expression one might see when trying to explain Norway to a dog.
Huskies would get it, other breeds not so much.
Yes I know what you mean, most people are not really aware of which web browser they are using , it just the “one that came with the computer”.
