Anyone got a Linky meter fitted indoors?

One for @Badger I believe

That’s not the case.

As @JaneJones has already said, you can reset the Linky holding in the + button for around 3 seconds. If that is not convenient (e.g the Linky is remote to the house) you can achieve the same effect my flipping main switch off in the house for ther same period. oth those examples assume that you have switched off enough loads to bring the demand back to within your “puissance souscrite”.

P.S. The terms you are looking for are Heures Pleines & Heures Creuses. If your Linky is not at fault then any problem with when your water heater is working lies in the wiring to/from the distribution board (tableau) & the special three position contacteur.

We’re talking about a délesteur. This is a device that monitors your load & if it exceeds the maximum setting will turn off loads automatically to prevent it tripping out.

Usually they are used with electric heating systems so that zones can be switched off in turn i.e. unimportant rooms first. Info here…
