Is ?

I’m living in the past.
“Is” was okay, given that you were saying what Jobs remains famous for. A quick search will reveal plenty of examples in the form “[Such-and-such dead person] is renowned for …”
But it reminded @ChrisMann of a trout-farmer’s music so all good.
Yes their renown does not expire with their death.
You’re right, of course he’s still renowned
.
Great fan of Jethro, especially Aqualung…
" Your sperm’s in the gutter, your love’s in the sink. So you ride yourselves over the fields, and you make all your animal deals, and your wise men don’t know how it feels … To be thick as a brick"
Is particularly appropriate today.
What!?!
Oh, you mean
OK, yes, I’m quite fond of Tull as well, though I think my favourite album is Broadsword.
There’s a story as to how they got their name - finding it difficult to get repeat bookings they regularly changed their name, or the booking agent staff did it for them. They just randomly happened to be playing as Jethro Tull when they were offered a residency and it stuck.
It’s just a pity Anderson can’t sing any more (along with probably the majority of '70’s stars, Debbie Harry is terrible for instance).
Yes
I’m not that fond of Ian the man, but…
I was quite shocked when I heard her sing a few years ago. Just completely different to ber wondeful voice of yesteryear.
