Ah… I wondered if it was a new way to say Maternelle 
I know those little ones definitely need a change of “whatever”… 
Moyenne section of maternelle. It goes TP (très petite section) PS ( petite section), MS, GS (grande section). Then you get into CP, CE1, CE2, CM1, CM2 then collège (6ème, 5ème, 4ème, 3ème) then lycée (2de, 1ère, Terminale).

Things are always simple, once it’s explained/clarified…
If one is talking in English… MS = Middle School (9-13 year olds)
somewhat different to MS in French (4 year olds?)
Sometimes it’s not clear which language is being used by a Poster
