I’m finding Surfshark VPN very good at enabling my listening and viewing of Auntie’s offerings. I had been using a small company - Privado, but I felt they were struggling to maintain connectivity.
I listen to BBC 3 radio 3 or 4 pretty much everyday via my Sonos system (linked to BBC sounds) but was kinda baffled as to how it all worked. Turns out both my BBC account and Sonos are still registered to a UK address. I’d long forgotten all about it.
You’re not missing much David. The only believable character now is grumpy old Brian.

initially announced as “end 26” , the date for the closure of droitwich has been brought forward to 27th june . ( possibly in a pre-emptive strike on the attempt at having the matter debated in parliament ? ) . keeplongwave.co.uk has information about what’s at stake .
I heard a discussion on R4 yesterday, and there was something in the papers today. The consensus was that the number of channels needs to be reduced and stuff like iPlayer cut back. All cost-driven, of course.
