You certainly didn’t imagine it, but it’ll be 2026 at the earliest… And even that seems unlikely as I’ve not heard anything about this for ages.

Saw this reported in yesterday’s Sud Ouest and also in the Times, and thought it might be of interest to those of us who live in this part of the country. Seems plans are being prepared again to enable passengers to travel from London to Bordeaux by train in 5 hours, although potentially only by 2026.
