I think life is better in France and most of my family and friends are here too.
Same here. But I would have gladly return to the UK years ago. If my children were not living in France.
I would probably choose France. I love my life in France. I do disappear for several months each year travelling, and I do spend about 6 weeks in the UK ,as I have a large family there. I still call the UK ‘home’ in a different sense to where I live, ‘ home’ is where I was born, spent most of my life and have ties.
With regards health, being in a rural area our choices are very limited in terms of GP’s and its 6 months to get appointments with dermatologists and many other consultants if you can’t travel far.
Also in the UK my GP always commented on annual blood tests via the NHS app, in France I get the results very quickly but no comment from the GP unless I make an appointment to see her to discuss them.
I’ve not had in hospital treatment so I can’t comment on that.
