I am going to be doing some maintenance on my chain saws soon and also sharpening old and making up some new chains. I have fair range of size of saws from the smallest top handle saw to the biggest they make, only Stihl brand I’m afraid, but i’m sure it’s all pretty much the same across the brands with maybe minor differences in a tool used here and there.
Is it a subject anyone would be interested in? I don’t want to take the time to do it just for the sake of taking photos and writing. If anyone is interested, should I just post the way I do it here for discussion, or start a new thread?
Remember chainsaws can be deadly tools to use - no complacency please.
