That’s good to know. If we find something late June and this bond doesn’t mature until early September we should be OK then. Am kicking myself.
I’m not sure which bond you have, but is there no provision to cancel it and forego the interest since it was rolled over?
OH had the brilliant idea of Chichester. He expects me to outlive him and he knows I love theatre. So, knowing nothing about the place other than the theatre, we have discovered it is a great little town and its location is super.
We initially looked at properties online, both liked the look of the one we’re buying. OH went over, saw the agents, saw the property, made an offer and that was it.

Think it must have been a British Savings Bond, Jennifer. But don’t go to any trouble. It generates quite a bit of interest and the money would just be lying doing nothing otherwise. Our house hunt can wait a bit.
