I’d be well blessed to find one of those. The place, Auchan, has been rumoured to be sold to Super U for the last 10 years at least and now may well be coming true because there are many empty shelves.

Of course they could have forgotten to re-order though.

Just got back from Riberac. According to my usual custom of prefering to be half an hour early rather than 5 minutes late, I arrived at 9.25 for my 10 am appointment.

All the details quickly taken I was soon called into a disrobing room, jacket and shoes, and then into another one with the machine waiting. I didn’t taste whatever they put in my veins but it gave me a really warm feeling and I lay there for 10 minutes or so while the thing screamed and whorled.

Then was told to wait 5 minutes before going back to the intro counter where I had another 5 to wait before being given my green card back and the results. I forgot to ask if they were sent directly to the doctor as well but once back in th car, and having walked Jules around the area, I sat and read through the document.

4 headings, Indication, Technique, Resultat and Conclusion. Read quickly though the first 3, understood a little but mainly a mystery but right at the bottom of the page ‘Scanner cerebral normal’ :joy:

Always knew I was  but, on the way home I had one of the disturbing moments of recent times. I can be driving along a road I know well when suddenly I am totally lost, don’t recognise the road or where I am going. It only lasts for a few minutes so I have learned to just keep going until it all comes back to me.

There is a CD too, with my name on it, I’ll give it a listen later, sure to be a hit.

Final comment, excellent building, staff, and service, also so easy to park in the shade within one minute of the main entrance. If I am given the choice in future, I will choose it over Francheville every time.

This happens to me sometimes and I’m a lot younger than you. I just ‘zone out’…

What I tend to do sometimes is set off for Point A but then find I am actually heading for Point B, simply because that’s a habitual destination.

I’m usually not very far off track, nothing a trip round a roundabout can’t fix, but it’s annoying.

David this happens to me very occasionally too if I’m very tired,!

So glad the results came back clear xx

This is deeply reassuring as you are a lot younger than me.

The vet for Rona’s elbow op is in Agen. Our hospital for most of our major ailments is in Agen.
This morning we had a follow-up consultation and X-rays with Rona’s vet.

As I headed towards the barrier of the hospital OH said “shouldn’t we be at the vets?”

Fortunately the vets and the hospital are quite close.

And the news for Rona is good.

Are you suggesting your vet for Chris?

Might be worth a try.
