Those dreadful caterpillars that were walking across our local park at near sea level?
We have them at sea level, they live in next door’s pine tree.
They seem to be spreading rapidly everywhere! Two types - oak trees and pine trees 
. Even saw preventative tree ring traps around trees in our local hospital carpark.
I have a smallish swimming pool, it’s a shell so no liner to tear and my 18month german shepherd showd off his breast stroke at least 4 times a day. no need to wash the kitchen floor!

I envy you, not the small size though, it would be even more fun if Jules would swim with me. 
Its not that small, 7x3. tricky sometimes if they wish to use one as a platform the scratches can be bad! Quindi ran off with my towel and a shoe, ha ha good fun!
