Crit'Air 2022 - 2025

they are for life…

No - once you have it, that’s it.

But the sticker itself is very frangible so once applied, you’ll need to get a new one if your windscreen is ever replaced.

And where your category of sticker allows you to go will change over time. Hence my earlier recommendation to use a navigation app that is up-to-date with Crit’Air zones.

Yes Google maps alerted me and Waze uses the same data. Helpful as otherwise I wouldnt have known.

Presumably you’d stil be able to ‘do it’ but would need to contest any subsequent chargf es. IMO if I was taking someone to hospital, in an emergency instead of using an ambulance taxi , any Crit Air charge would be a minor element, and one that could perhps be challengedany .

Seems a lot of work to save €4.

July 2012 was the Partner’s 1st registration so that, coupled with the colour, yellow, would seem to put it in cat 2. I presume that is the highest category allowing access anywhere but hope that the faded and disappeared 2 makes no difference. The little dark square at the bottom I am hoping is the important bit in this regard. Funny though that something like that, designed to be displayed on a windscreen, should be susceptible to sunlight though.

Green is the best, then purple1 and then yellow2
(OH’s car is category purple1 and my car (like yours) is category yellow2…)

the map showing red and green towns… shows where category 3,4,5 and non-category will not be allowed or will be restricted…between now and 2025.

must confess, haven’t noticed our yellow fading but even so the barcode thingy should work and also the registration plate will be recognised by the computer (in an ideal world)

Yes, but I meant the best in the diesel category, and I now see confirmed by 3, 4, and 5 being barred in some places. That’ll be the Berlingo then 1st reg way back in 2004 I think. Good job it only goes (rurally) local then. :grinning:

My deisel Partner tepee (HDI 90) was first registered July 2011 and is CritAir2, so yours must be as well. The yellow sticker just confirms that.
