Did you see the report on the news the other lunchtime/evening? There are thousands and thousands of uninsured vehicles being driven on the roads here. The pixelated man driving for the report said he could not afford insurance and was willing to take the risk, I certainly wouldn’t want to be him if he kills someone!
Let’s hope they get caught by the speed cameras, patrols, whatever… as the vehicle can be confiscated… thus one less danger on the roads.

Now that insurance tabs have been stopped, and IF crit’air stickers go, it just leaves the CT tab to go and then:
- We have unobstructed view of the road, but sadly
- Nothing to moan about on SF

Humm…I’m pretty certain that there are many who would not be able to ‘play the race card’ who also drive uninsured. However, numbers either way are not easily proved.
It’s interesting that a little bit of casual racism seems to be de rigueur but to challenge it is spoiling the nature of the forum.

OH has just placed the critair on my new car windscreen, must have been standing in a hole or something … not even nearly square to the screen My OCD is saying get another one and re do it but now i think i will wait (if i can stand it).

Lol It’s a round disc on a square sticky clear background.
Isn’t the square supposed to come off? Mine is round and, if I remember rightly, the square piece is for mounting on exterior surfaces like on the motorbike.

I think you can do it either way - on my car I have the square of plastic around the vignette on the inside of the windscreen; on my motorbike (where it is also attached to the inside of a windscreen) I have just the vignette and not the square surround.
But even if you remove the square surround, those of us with mild OCD will still prefer to have the writing correctly oriented in relation to the windscreen.

Did you take into account the fact that the Earth is not a perfect sphere, but is actually an irregularly shaped ellipsoid?
