Difficulty in speaking French

Could have added Russian. 6 cases not just 4 like the Germans.
Is there a pattern here?

I get that, and do sympathise, I respectfully suggest it’s the land of the mother tongue calling, resolving any language difficulties.

I wonder, if English was much easier than French, would France citizens be less likely to exit the UK if suffering reduced linguistic cognisance?

I might be wondering (asking) “what happens to (all) French speakers who through deteriorating mental faculties, encounter difficulties speaking French” coz us regular posters seem mostly French speakers more or less, and faced with that scenario, what might we do?

Though removal to UK to avoid France IHT features sometimes…

I am fully conscious of the fact I may not be fully conscious in the future!

And at some stage, it’ll become noise again that you put on to pass the time on the drive into work , yet you’ll remember most, If not all, of the drivel coming out of politicians’ mouths :joy:

I think mainland europeans are much more grounded in linguistic capabilities, and the British are hugely more hesitant. English being well used everywhere does us no favours as a French person moving to tge UK couldn’t “get by” not speaking English and likely to become very solidly fluent .
