I rarely play these days because the decisions over what words are permitted, what are bonus and what isn’t in at all so annoy me. Entree is acceptable, Decease is a bonus word! Really!
But I do like the squaredles with lots of words as so often a pattern emerges and I get further faster. Maybe not all the way, but enough to make me feel I’m achieving something.
I love finding the very long words. Yesterday’s was absolutely my favourite word: discombobulated. To be used often when things aren’t going quite as one hopes.

I play, but only to the point it remains interesting. Once I’m starting to tear my hair out I stop, so don’t often finish them.

You should try some of the “specials”. Towards the bottom of the list are a couple with over 800 words to find.
I still do it every day and look forward to the 5 star difficulty and more challenging ones. I know what you mean about whats an acceptable word or a bonus
