This is an outrage!!
It's got nothing to do with taking a picture of you - its about taking pictures of buildings, monuments etc in public (and how buildings etc are defined by the EU mandarins). If you are in Paris and take a holiday snap of your friend then publicise it in any way (facebook, twitter or even publish an annual newsletter at Christmas for family and friends and include that pic) then you could be open to litigation by the architect of that building (s) which appear in the background
I cant wait, it will prevent all the speed cameras from taking your photo without getting your permission first LOL
Leave the EU before we all go broke under the weight of compliance and red tape!
