I use the Melitta pour-over method. Tried all the other methods. I like some of them but I find the Melitta is the best combo of great coffee and as good as zero cleanup. Plus I get the grounds left over in a nice paper filter (I strongly recommend the Melitta Gourmet filters Intense variety) to put around whichever plant needs protection from slugs. I like a cafetière but cleaning the plunger is a pain and retrieving the grounds for the garden is fussier. Pods work our very expensive so I’ve only ever used them when workplace coffee machines were that type
You can make your own pods cheaper if you buy the reusable blank ones in the supermarket and fill them.
Although I have some very good espresso makers I just make a very strong pourover most of the time instead.
The Lidl.fr mousseurs de lait are excellent for cappucino and latte milk and hot chocolate. Get one rated 4.5 or preferably 4.6. There’s one on at 15 euros this week which is less than they’ve been for a while
