Too late for the current model is only a month old.

No worries :grinning_face::+1:

Can’t you just turn it all off, like one does for kids? Or set app limit to zero.

It’s still present Jane. Nosing in on what you are doing. It’s terrible really that such intrusions are shipped with a device, they should be paying us to watch us and listen in on our day to day lives.

Maybe uninstall it all, but if someone has a bit of an addiction they might reinstall..

I don’t use fb etc myself.

One of the things I like about Xiaomi/Poco phones is the level of granularity with app permissions. It does mean that you have to spend a couple of hours (really) setting app permissions and deleting unwanted apps with a new phone. This may be possible with other brands too.

Just been through the app drawer. No Facebook, Spotify, Instagram, Tiktok etc, only apps I use. Poco F7 a bit over 12 months old.

For anyone looking to remove bloatware from an android phone, take a look at ADB (Android debug bridge). https://github.com/kamrullab/adb

Available on Win/Mac as well as Linux.
