OK picture time - we went from this last year -
to this last night - must be going up in the world (small gigs are great too though).
We went for the last three groups of the evening - here were the Yass Solo rappers -
It’s rap - with a violin. Madame liked this band.
The main event was obviously Killian Alaari - and it was good, plenty of brass, sharp, clear lyrics and yes, a violin. If you want to hear French, I suggest one listens to rap, I understood plenty of phrases, just couldn’t join them up!
They seem to like plenty of smoke, here’s one of the man himself - I detected some references to Egyptian

The last band, Boom Brass, was unsurprisingly reminiscent of the Bonzo dog do dah band, mixed with something more manic, whose name I’ve forgotten.
