First royal to be arrested since Charles I?

I assume Fergie has cancelled the strippers for tonight’s birthday party.

In answer to your question, @George1 , I think you’re right.

Princess Anne has form for speeding and dangerous dogs, but she wouldn’t have been arrested for such offences.

I think both Charles and William need to be interviewed as to what they knew of Andrew’s activities.

Like that’s going to happen.

I don’t think it will happen but if you don’t ask you defiantly wont get.

I got asked today what I thought about our royals. They ain’t my royals and they are only there because they are nepo babies. That resulted in a few quizzical looks.

I expect he will demand a pizza from that place in Woking …

AMW is “low hanging fruit” in this awful story, where are the US investigations into the CEO’s and billionaires who also associated with Epstein?

This, really.

They’ve just finished this evening’s Debate on France 24 on that very subject (one of my favourite TV programmes):-

Maybe that’s the point, he might give up info on his mates that might be of selective pressure use with whom the UK government might wish to “come to an arrangement”.

Politics is a tawdry business isn’t it?

It’s hard to believe that, if he could, he hasn’t come to an arrangement already. Far more likely is that he was too busy thinking with his wallet and his willy to consider wider implications of Epstein’s world and the other people caught up inside it.

Loved former HRH’s expression in this photo

The thing is, this would not have happened without someone checking with the bigger HRH first “Is it OK if we do this” so it seems family has hung him out to dry.

But I did like the idea above that if he could provide info about co-perpetrators and, presumably, be prepared to swear to it, then this could provide the UK powers that be some useful leverage. Unless he’s frightened about hitmen originating from some great power finding him, of course.

The possibility of “King’s evidence” comes to mind.
