Isn’t annatto widely used? More even than turmeric I’d have thought. I expect turmeric now seen as a superfood probably gets mentioned more.
Would gin work as well I wonder? We have lots of bottles of gin that we don’t drink.
Yes gin works exactly the same. Vodka is used because of its neutral flavour once the alcohol has burnt off.
