Its an existing building ,so the neighbour hasbuilt on their boundry!!! I really don’t know.

It most certainly is! It’s both an excellent thing and sometimes a disadvantage that the majority of the people on here could be described as “characters” - certainly leads to, shall we say, a variety of views? :rofl: :rofl:

As your example shows it doesn’t work well in some cases so why do it unless you carve up a country into regular standardised plots?
As you say doesn’t advance the question but if anyone knows why?
