Help-Mice in cupboard where gite linen kept

We tried them for storage years ago - they usually start to leak, or simply tear after relatively little time - as Sue says, you might have hit on a better quality one but my experience has been disappointing.

I would agree with the earlier ones, yes they all lose vacuum after a while but as they started off in great condition they are in good shape when opened. Mind you if its a mouse chewing problem is game over anyway.

Yes in our case the little barstewards chewed their way through some pretty solid plastic storage boxes so I imagine PVC bags would not present them with too much of a challenge if they developed a penchant for the contents.

Was trying to find an appropriate thread, and this seemed the most relevant. You mentioned thinking about scaling back on your gîte the other day. We also have this on the horizon and one thing that has eased the pressure has been changing the bedlinen. A bit at a time as expensive but swapping to duvet covers that don’t need ironing and have hand-holes so very easy to get on and off, and fitted jersey sheets that don’t need ironing either.
