5G in France is re-using frequency bands deployed for 4G in Europe and the 700MHz only the Yanks used before for rural coverage.

OpenSignal is another good mobile coverage app.

Remember that for 4/5G routers : more signal = better throughout (depending on your subscription).

I would agree with that.
4/5G and fibre is a whole new ball game over the old “wet string” copper technology that generated most complaints in the past.

Finally got fibre today. Painful experience due to the bad quality of the copper twisted pair wires / gain telecom that was installed twenty years ago… Plus Orange blaming their subcontractor and the subcontractor blaming Orange.

But anyway, it’s all working now so my partner and I can have more than one Teams/ Zoom call at a time.
