I was not disputing the facts, but I think we have a right to know if it is a disguised political advertisement.
We might not be so tolerant if it expressed sentiments that we disagree with.
Great and 100% accurate assessment. Forward the letter the Guardian and Channel 4 news desks. If she does exist they’ll do somethings about it.
She is on Twitter and is showing her letter there as well as other social media

I have to disagree Mike. I’d have no problem with any letter, real or fake, that represents views I don’t agree with, once it is factual. It’s the blatant lies that get my goat. I think Johnson is a bastard but if an accurate letter came out praising him and listing all good things he’s done that would be fine by me the. The problem is it would be a very, very short letter.

Yes, he came across as a blithering idiot. He can’t seem to grasp that if the UK wants unfettered access to the Single Market they have to play br the Single Market’s rules. Despite Katerina Barley explaing it repeatedly. In the end she just smirked while he rabbited on.

Fake news. Boris attended at the birth but he didn’t delivery the baby and I do not believe that he ever claimed to have done so.

Not addressed to you personally, but there is a perception that it is ok to say anything you like about politicians you don’t like.
Jessica Collins appears to be a very busy lady.
She has studied for a physically and mentally draining degree, completed 2300+ hours in NHS hospitals, had two children and found the time to write her letter that she first posted anonymously and later under her name and also in the Mirror (well known for its generous fees for such stories) together with a very professional looking photograph. But apparently she somehow failed to send a signed hard copy of her letter to 10 Downing Street for the attention of the person to whom it was addressed.
I accept the assurances from our more knowledgeable contributors that the facts, as stated, are correct. However, I always view viral stories on the Internet with a degree of scepticism and I suspect there is more to this than is immediately apparent.
Sure it was, but it was posted as a caption to a genuine photograph, rather than a cartoon drawing.

Facebook and this reputable forum are slightly different.
A while back, someone posted the words attributed to Trump “People are going to die who haven’t died yet.” This was later fact checked by Google and found to be untrue.

The photograph had a very obvious joke caption. Surely it was obvious that it was a joke?
