would apply the letter, but not spirit of immigration laws, ie could delay appointments for CdS applications and renewals, could make appointments scarce, could drag out processing, could ask for numerous irrelevant follow up documents, and could delay CdS issuing etc.

TBH According to reports there is already quite a level of skill in these things around

The same as the worry isn’t Mr T it’s the voters that were enough to put him there, they will still be around to vote if there’s any change.
