In France, who still eats Entrée, Plat & Dessert at home, and when?

Every day in our house, and it can be done even in a vegetarian environment.

I used to work with a French lady who would bring a packed lunch of four courses. She would start with a small salad (usually lettuce of some kind but often tomatoes in Summer) and would produce a tiny post of dressing to go over it. She would then open another plastic pot with some nicely cooked chicken or salmon on a bed of vegetables and rice/potatoes/pasta, accompanied by the obligatory piece of baguette. The dessert was usually a yoghurt with biscuits to dip in it and lastly, a piece of cheese.
How she did any work after all that I just don’t know, I would just want to sleep!
