Interesting articles - why not add your own

You know that’s not the point but you will persist in niggling at it.

I dropped it, others did not, check the dates and order, others still persisted.

Again missing the body of the message about risky investment but carry on with a minor point.

Unfortunately this weekend she’s at home in Cornwall, so not available to be carried.

(I am going down there for a few days next weekend.)

Also carrying 50kg for any distance would probably render me unfit for any future usefulness to her!

It’s international womens day tomorrow

So the wife can be any nationality?

Mine only weighs 40kg, so if I was in Dorking tomorrow, maybe I’d be in with a chance.

OTOH, we’re not, she wouldn’t, and I’m glad.

Thought they’d found a buyer - though small investors were going to be shafted.

Brew Dog’s currently featuring in Super U’s Foire à la Bière (there are lots of other beers too).

I avoid them as I’ve seen a few articles suggesting that have never been a great employer.

Was responding to you post that they’d found a buyer. Personally I’d rather support our local micro breweries (though this lunchtime had a fine demie of an IPA from a Heineken subsidiary in Marseille

I thought this could be interest to some aficionados on here, esp @volcanic

You couldn’t make this one up. The ‘pile of shit’ is used to secure all the US governments IT systems, including those with the most sensitive information :exploding_head:

I watched an interesting video the other day on how the cleaned up air we are now producing is appearing to increase the solar warming rate and also creating the very affects your article above demonstrates.

It was certainly interesting, I can’t draw any conclusions long term but when we play with things it’s always a challenge as to how it affects sub systems.

All this is so true

What I wish men understood about the menopause

“For most men, getting their head around the menopause feels like the emotional equivilent of building an IKEA wardrobe but with Japanese instructions, no Allen key and both hands tied behind your back.”
