Telephone conundrum - eSIM

Madame now has a Bouyges eSIM on her iPhone, as well as her (GiffGaff) SIM. It was set up by the gadgie in the shop and worked for a bit. It got locked, but I managed to unlock it. It’s still unlocked. However … it’s no longer accepting calls on the Bouyges number - goes straight to answerphone - or text messages. We’re in the UK at the moment. At some point, she’s going to screw up her courage and ring Bouyges, but in the meantime, it’s not impossible that I’ve missed something (I tried all the solutions I could find), and SF is the home of the finest minds on the internet anyway.
