Well, if anyone calls to impose a fine, you could try pointing out the laws of salvage (probably don't apply to rivers, but nothing ventured, ..................). Or ask for the reward? :-)
Hi Sheila Cant think who reported it ,nobody near us ,and we got it out of our river.It has been collected now.i am hoping that is the last i hear of it,i should have chucked it back where i found it.
Hi Bill. That sounds awful. I don't suppose you took any photos of the table before you took it down from the trees? If it was me, I would also be wondering who reported me and why. Hope you get this sorted out - best of luck.
