Wasn’t expecting that!

There’s a surprising number of French men in kilts but what a day to be at Murrayfield.

France stil top of the table but only just! They need to deal with England next week and hope that Ireland can do a number on Scotland.

France turned up 20 minutes too late

My money’s still on Les Blue, I’m sure the Little General will be chewing their ears off after today’s performance.
Italy’s turn for an upset? :folded_hands:

More like only turned up for 20 minutes. I was fully expecting to be watching a drubbing for Scotland

Going by the cheers, I hadn’t realised there were so many Italians in Glasgow.

I will join you!

Lucky you! What a fantastic game :star_struck::star_struck::star_struck:

And Italy :heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

Isn’t the 6Ns the best tournament. Any team can win, Italy has finally proven they are real contenders, in the past the only scalp they hadn’t taken was that of England, they now have the historic win at home such a great day for rugby. Another one for the record books is Scotland putting 50 points on France

It certainly is full of surprises. I never expected England to be languishing second to bottom.

I think Saturday night/Sunday morning is going to be very wet, I have tickets, along with friends, for France/England.

Large Italian population in Scotland mainly Glasgow. Many can trace their ancestry back to the late 1800s.

Similar to Bedford where immigration after WW2 brought Italians to work in the brickfields.

Whoosh!

Descendants of WWII POWs?

Haha, don’t worry - I got it

Much older than that. Escaping extreme poverty in the late 19th century.

Same in southern France, not just Italianish food in Nice, like pissaladiere and socca, there’s also a parmesan equivalent made in Rodez known as ‘Vieux-Rodez’ / ‘Formaggio Rodez’.

Nice was Italian, Nissart is a dialect of Italian like Piemontese, Corsu, Sardo etc. People still spoke it as their primary language when I was a child, spending my pocket money on a bit of socca and a gratta keka or a chichi frégi the interactions were all in Nissart.
