Very useful for that exact reason as well as being able to buy items from Amazon U.K. without getting involved in currency conversions at ruinous exchange rates using my French bank account as a payment method.

This is where Revolut comes in so handy you can have Sterling and Euro accounts and move money between them as you wish at the full interbank rate.

weāre small fry and what we have works well for usā¦

No problems with Santander bank. They have my French address. I have a visa debit card too.
