Errr, no! France, like the UK, has a single national Health Technology Assessment Body. The Haute Authorité de Santé is the equivalent of NICE. A self-appointed body that produces and sells subscriptions to a magazine for voluntary educational purposes is not the same thing, no matter how expert its advisers and board are.

more medications which have been found to do more harm than goodâŠ
Depends on your point of view about harm and good, and how you balance quality of life versus risk. I use two of the drugs on the list. They work much better for me than the supposedly safer alternatives, ,so improve my quality of life enough to make risks acceptable. And of course the âsaferâ drugs also have risks albeit lower ones but perhaps I would be the unlucky one to suffer from them.
Fine to highlight the issues, but within limits people should be allowed choice.
