Mesh system recommendations

All i have to say is that I have a problem with my one Google mini speaker and my search for a solution has revealed a lot of people unhappy with Google mesh products. Which surprises me.
Edit : to say I fixed it, by changing the wifi signal to 2.4Ghz from 5Ghz. Nothing to do with walls or distance as both were in the same room.

Mine is a TPLink wifi mesh system, which works fairly well within the two floors of the house and to a certain extent, approximately to a 10m radius outside the house too.

Our house has suffered from both of these situations. Protection is necessary, but I’m not sure how efficient these units are or even if you can tell if they are still working as they should.

The 2.4Ghz signal travels further and better through walls, than the 5Ghz, I have read. And 6Ghz is available.

It does. But 5GHz can support faster speeds and suffers less from interference. So 5GHz is better if its range is sufficient.

Mesh is flexible but - if you can manage it - an Ethernet backbone with multiple AP’s is preferable.
