I used to live nextdoor to the secondary school she went to in Newbury… Same school that Arron Banks attended too. One of those is vastly more popular than the other in our household.

I would be if she didn’t do the silly dressing up thing! Most of us grow out of that by the time we are ten. :slight_smile:

Mind you, I did enjoy the programme she narrated on Florence Nightingale the other evening on BBC 4. Fortunately someone else played FN. I had no idea just what an incredible woman she was. I love the fact that she was the first woman to be inducted (is that the right word?) into the Royal Statistical Society. (Is it a bit too soon for thread drift? If so, apologies.)

A really incredible woman. I used to live near Kaiserswerth where she studied. There is a statue of her there.
