MP needed to represent GB citizens resident abroad

Call me cynical, but I’m cynical. You could never keep party politics out of it and what relevance has UK party politics to life in a foreign country.

Imagine these new MPs holding the balance of power. Imagine the irony of ReformUK having success or even participating.

I would see nothing wrong with party politics in this situation. If all parties offered candidates/s for the role then we could choose what kind of representation we would get.

Quite a lot if you rely on a state pension &/or have investments in the UK that could be effected by government policies. I could also mention the Class 2 NI contributions argument at this stage too.

“What relevance has UK party politics to life in a foreign country”…er…Brexit for example. It could get even worse for us all if a loose canon like Farage actually gets in to Government. If he starts shafting EU citizens living in thr UK,then we will be in for the same here.Anything is possible including accessing your pensions from abroad etc etc.Fingers crossed that the British public see through him this time.
