I bought Dell for the simple reason I was able to go through, adding bits on and taking bits of as I did or didn't need it. Computer friends tell me they're overpriced but I felt happy with it at the time 6 years ago. Only downside was that it came with Windows Vista, it had just come out and we thought that was great - we since learned better.
