Lovely idea, but we are now in the Béarn! So I think we may have already gone past you….? We have one stop planned already, and overnight on Sat in Terrasson and then non-stop home to see how many of our trees are down. So not sure can fit in another.

4 people, luggage for 3 weeks (and was supposed to be dog too) over 2,500km made Evie just a bit uncomfortable.
The newer gens of 1.6 and 2.0 diesel Skodas have a bit of a reputation for oil pressure problems, according to my mechanic, so a good idea to get it checked. I ran an 05 1.9 Tdi Octavia until this year. If you have that engine it’s pretty much bomb proof.
